Individuals who successfully complete a BOC Level I or II training program will receive a Training Certificate of Completion (TCOC).
The Training Certificate of Completion indicates that an individual has successfully completed the BOC Level I or II training program and has acquired specific knowledge, skills, and/or competencies. Assessments (tests and projects) are used to evaluate mastery of BOC course learning outcomes.
Individuals who successfully complete the Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations course will receive a Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations Certificate. Successful completion of the course can be paired with one-year of experience for a student to meet eligibility requirements for BOC Level I. To earn your Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations Certificate, you must attend three full-day classes and pass a 20-question multiple choice-test.

Level I Training Certificate of Completion (TCOC)
To earn Your BOC Level I Training Certificate of Completion, you must attend seven BOC classes, complete five in-facility project assignments, pass seven 20-question multiple-choice tests, meet eligibility and submit a Training Certificate of Completion Application.

Level II Training Certificate of Completion (TCOC)
To earn Your BOC Level II Training Certificate of Completion, you must attend six BOC classes, complete five in-facility project assignments, pass six 20-question multiple-choice tests, meet eligibility and submit a Training Certificate of Completion Application.
The BOC training programs are accredited under the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
