Fundamentals of Energy Efficient Building Operations is an introductory course that teaches the basic principles of energy efficiency awareness and practices in commercial buildings. The content of this course is designed for those seeking a solid foundational understanding of energy efficiency and building systems who have less than a year of experience in the field, are looking to start a career in facilities or energy management and those whose work intersects with facilities and the built environment. This content covers basic information well-suited to those who work in facility operations as well as energy and resource conservation management, such as commercial strategic energy managers and resource conservation managers.
